Doosan Solutions

From Jobsite Problem to Matched Machine Package.

Mining · Road · Building · Waterworks — problem-led excavator and loader configurations that help procurement teams choose without guessing bucket class or shoe width.

How we stage a solution conversation

  1. Step 1

Map the pain: dig depth, cycle time, soil, or haul distance.

  2. Step 2

Shortlist excavator / loader / forklift classes that fit the pad.

  3. Step 3

Attach buckets, shoes, and monitoring options to the quote.

  4. Step 4

Confirm Tier 4 Final / CE documentation needs.

  5. Step 5

Lock commissioning week and parts hub coverage.

  6. Step 6

    Review early-season wear with a field check-in.

Scenario packages contractors ask for most

Mining & Quarry

Excavator + loader pair Rock buckets around 1.4 m³ class, abrasive undercarriage, stockpile reclaim cycles, breakout force prioritized over road speed

Road & Infrastructure

Cut-and-fill fleet Mass excavation excavators with truck-loading loaders; digging depth and boom reach sized to cut benches

Building Construction

Foundation dig package 20–30 t operating weight excavators, tight-swing options, site forklifts for rebar and form staging

Waterworks & Reclamation

Wet-soil configuration Wider track shoe width to lower ground pressure, long-reach notes, pump-assist staging

When crawler packages beat wheeled packages — and when they do not

Mining and waterworks scenarios typically stay on crawler excavators because flotation and digging depth stability matter more than self-relocation. Road and building packages sometimes mix a wheeled unit for urban punch-list work after the mass dig is done. The limitation is honest: wheeled machines move between city blocks without a lowboy, yet they raise ground pressure on soft pads and usually give up some bucket capacity headroom. Share soil notes and relocation frequency before we lock either path.

Who sits in the solution room with us

Typical stakeholders include fleet managers, site superintendents, estimators, and regional dealers. We keep the language practical — boom reach, bucket fill factor, spare-parts lead time — so finance and operations can agree on the same package.
